While on a secure ordering page your browser becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, as when you are just surfing.
The shopping cart page is inside a framed page so the familiar locked icon at the bottom left of the page becomes hidden unless you choose to open that frame in a new browser window.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
Our Tell-A-Friend web site referral page does not capture any names or addresses for storage. It sends an immediate one time message to the person specified only.
